Pastoral Staff
Pastor Steve and Kim Shaw

Apostolic/Senior Pastors, Steve and Kim Shaw

Married for 29 years, Steve and Kim are the proud parents of Joshua, married to Staci Shaw, and Melissa, married to Casey Oliver.  All which serve together and are intricately involved in the ministry of Westwood.  Steve and Kim have proven that putting Jesus as the center of the family is the key to a fulfilling marriage, and the most successful component of parenting.  Together this couple makes a dynamic and motivational team who are destined and determined to touch not only Lubbock and the West Texas area, but also the world.

Pastor Steve Shaw

Pastor Steve Shaw is a native of Lubbock, Texas and has carried a burden and lifelong vision for the ministry he was to complete and formulate in the heart of West Texas. Steve’s vision, for the growth and continual forward progress of Westwood, has led to a relocation process from 38th and Avenue B to our present facilities on the corner of 87th and Upland Avenue in Southwest Lubbock.  Under his leadership, the church has experienced growth and is now going into its third building project as Westwood continues to remain committed to growth, expansion, and impact through the ever-living Word of God.  Conference speaker, Leadership instructor, and Inspirational teacher, Steve continues to inspire and raise up leaders and spiritual motivators who go beyond the walls of Westwood and become a vital part to the growth of the Kingdom of God across the city and the nation.

With a desire to continue the growth, instruction, and maturing of those who are hungry in their walks with God for deeper relationship, Pastor Steve excels in laying foundations that are built upon, developed, and then released to further the Kingdom and it’s principles. Serving in Leadership roles in the community and in organizational setting he has continued to serve, minister, and open his heart to lead others to a deeper understanding of God’s will.  Serving as a Bishop/Overseer to younger ministers is a part of his heart.  The family of Westwood continues to increase and grow spiritually, numerically, and instructionally under his leadership and pastoral guidance.

Kim carries a powerful anointing and is a vital part of every altar call in search of a soul seeking to be filled with God’s spirit.  Working the altars with her anointing opens the hearts and lives of the spirit hungry and helps them walk into the arms of God and experience his love.  She currently oversees the ”Women of Divine Destiny” Conferences at Westwood and continues to see them grow and bring forth an opportunity for women who are seeking to find their place in God.  She believes in God’s best, and she believes God never fails. Her faith, compassion, and uplifting spirit will no doubt leave you with a touch of God’s love you will never forget.
